My name is Ashly Miler. I grew up in Jackson and have lived here my whole life with the exception of the few years I attended the University of South Dakota to pursue a degree in Journalism.
Over the last 6 years I have become more involved with the community through my husband and his involvement with the Fire Department and the Sheriff’s Reserve. The opportunities I have had to serve our community through these organizations has increased my desire to continue to serve in additional areas that are near and dear to my heart. So, when the opportunity to join the JCAPS board came up, I knew I had to join.
I am so excited to see what JCAPS and our community volunteers can accomplish over the next few years. Our furry friends depend on our success and because of that I know, together, we can accomplish our goals.
