I am a husband and father foremost. I am a software engineer by trade, spending hours inside in front of a computer. Volunteering, being outside, and/or working with animals helps to keep me grounded. Back home, in Texas I was a FEMA C.E.R.T instructor (disaster preparedness) and trained search and rescue operator. Volunteering in the communities in which I live has always been important to me, when I saw a need within our community here in Jackson, it felt right to get involved. I enjoy bike rides with my daughter and family walks with our dog, Sophie. Occasionally our cats, Oliver and Angel, like to follow along with us.
